September 2019

Our prayer focus this month is for our missionary kids who are entering back into school for the year. May God bless them and use them as a light in their classrooms and across their campus. Join us as we also pray for teachers, faculty, and administration to have courage and passion as they lead in our school districts across the United States.

CHALINI CHAVEZ

U.S. missionary associate Shalini Chavez grew up in the Hindu faith. She uses her past experiences to reach Asian Indian women from the same background. “God called me to minister to these women and I share with them how He changed my life when I accepted Jesus into my heart.”
Shalini’s ministry is dependent on her ability to build friendships to share Jesus with others.

TIM AND ELAINE
HARRIS

On the Yankton Sioux Reservation in Wagner, SD, U.S. missionary Tim Harris, and his wife Elaine, minister to the Native American community. The Harris’ pastor a Native church, train the next generation of ministers, host VBS, and meet the physical and spiritual needs of those living on the reservation. “I love meeting the needs of Native Americans and connecting with the youth in after-school programs. . ."
