PHILIP AND AMY
BOSWELL

U.S. missionaries Phillip and Amy Boswell understand the effects of winter on the congregation they lead at Anchorage Native Assembly. “We have seen how the dark Alaskan winters impact the community because it’s so easy to relapse into addictions and recluse yourself when the sun isn’t out for that long. We teach to draw from the strength of Christ during those difficult times.” The Boswells equip and train Native Alaskan lay church members to bring the Word to their home villages in rural Alaska. “Currently there are 110 villages without a Gospel witness. By training Native leaders here in town we hope that those unreached villages will come to know the love of Jesus.”
JOHN & RANA
MARACLE

There are 601 Native American tribes with people who don’t know the love of Christ. For the last 44 years, U.S. missionary John Maracle has served this community. Growing up in the Mohawk tribe has allowed Maracle to understand Native culture. “It is vital to stay spiritually fit, learn about the tribe you serve, and understand historical context within the Native American culture. My favorite part of ministry is seeing new leadership raised up.” John continues establishing Native churches all over America and equipping the next generation of ministers. Pray for John’s impact in these communities and for more people to answer the call to share Jesus with Native Americans.
