You can log on to view and plan your excursions here. You will need to give your name, confirmation number, and the ship name (Liberty of the Seas). Please note that all excursions are personal expenses.

You may request reimbursement from your class (48) funds for travel to and from the port in Galveston. Email Kashia or Vanielle to request funds.

Embark 2020 is only three short months away! Assumption of Risk forms for travel insurance have been mailed out to those who are registered for the conference. We ask that you complete and return them at your earliest convenience. It is of utmost importance that they are filled out completely and signed by the attendee and a witness (other than your spouse). We must have one copy of the entire document for each attendee. These do not need to be notarized. The expenses for insurance were included in the registration cost.

Forms are due December 2nd. If we do not receive them by January 1st, we will have to cancel your registration.

Information on hotel stay and shuttle transfer prior to boarding the ship has been sent out. We encourage you to fly in to Houston and stay at a hotel the evening prior to departure. You may board the ship starting at 10 am Sunday, February 2nd. You must be aboard the ship no later than 2:30 pm. Please do not book flights on February 9th any earlier than 12 pm.

U.S. missionary Brandon Cox and his wife, Shayla, have a calling to minister to trafficked minors in the Midwest. Through Oasis Refuge, a non-profit organization connected with F.R.E.E. International, the Coxes and their ministry team will provide shelter and aftercare for twelve to seventeen-year-old girls victimized by human trafficking. “Everyone here has a different story. We want to show these girls what Christ’s love is really like.” The intention of a year spent at Oasis is to disciple girls who have experienced sexual abuse and to lead them to form a relationship with Jesus. Brandon and Shayla also desire to either reunite the survivors with their families, place them in a capable foster family, or help them transition to college or a career.

JORDAN GUERRA

Guerra serves as a U.S. Missions missionary associate with U.S. missionary Steve Woodward and Culture Cross Ministries. She serves at Christian Zoe Congolese Church, a church ran entirely by refugees. Before Jordan joined their staff, the church had been praying for a children’s pastor. The children in the church spend eight hours a day in English-speaking schools and are not learning French. Because of this there lies a major language barrier between parents and their children when talking about Jesus. Guerra’s role is to share the Gospel with these kids, serve alongside other Culture Cross teammates who teach English to the adults of Christian Zoe, and to raise up and train the next children’s pastor.
