A GREETING FROM THE SENIOR DIRECTOR

In the Amplified it says this in Romans 15:13, “May the God of hope fill you with ALL joy and peace in believing [through the experience of your faith] that by the power of the Holy Spirit you will abound in hope and overflow with confidence in His promises.”

That is our prayer for you today. So many times in ministry, especially missions ministry, we can get so discouraged because of lack of funds, lack of progress, etc. (the list goes on and on—we’ve been there!). I want to encourage you today that the God you serve has NEVER failed you and He is NOT going to start today! Allow him to saturate your spirit and fill you with ALL joy and peace. He has called you. He has placed a great promise in your heart and it will come to completion. Do not be weary in well doing for in due season YOU WILL REAP!

We love and appreciate each of you and honor the calling that God has placed upon your life. Know that you are lifted to God in prayer!

USMK Program

U.S. Missions has seen a great need for outreach to the children of our missionaries. We're excited to announce that Brianne Smythia will be joining the U.S. Missions team as a missionary associate to YOUR kids. The vision is to see MK's connecting with one another and being ministered to in a special way. More information to come soon!

OUT OF COUNTRY MINISTRY

REMINDER: All U.S. Missions account holders must obtain approval from U.S. Missions and World Missions before purchasing airfare for out of country ministry. If you are planning to do ministry outside of the U.S., please be sure to follow policy.

Monthly Reports Delinquency Policy

Timely submission of the missionary’s monthly reports are an absolute requirement. Failure to do so will result in the monthly check being withheld. This delinquency policy also covers quarterly reports and STL reports.

1 month late ------ Reminder from Accounting department
2 months late ------ Check withheld
6 months late ------ Letter from department senior director
8 months late ------ Department senior director writes missionary and district
12 months late ------ U.S. Missions Executive Committee reviews for termination

USMEC 4-17-18 approved changing the late fee from $10 to $35.

A $50 wire fee was also approved for account holders who fail to update their address on file. When addresses are not updated, mail is returned to us or is lost.

THIS WILL GO INTO EFFECT FOR THE JUNE MONTH END.

REACHING MUSLIM WOMEN

A lot of Christians think of the word terrorist when they hear the word Muslim. One of our Intercultural missionaries believes this is due to lies portrayed in the media. This missionary acknowledges that we live in a fear-based culture and from that there comes great insensitivity and inaccessibility. In response, our missionary extends their hand out to the community by becoming a safe and kind presence in the lives of Muslim women.

Every year, Pastor Jack opens the doors of Hope Restored Church for gay pride parade participants to use the water fountains, restrooms, and to take a break from the hot summer heat. Often times there will be a worship team in the church playing worship songs to foster a welcoming environment...Last year, three parade participants came to the alter during worship.

"GIVE YOUR LIFE TO ME..."

“Give your life to me and everything will be okay.” These are the words that God spoke to missionary candidate Fabian Sanchez during the spiritual turning point in his life. Years later, Fabian stayed obedient to God and had a vision: to inspire and equip the church for Hispanic ministry. He and his wife, Rebekah, want local churches to know that to reach their community they must maximize their resources, have a desire to minister, and to take it seriously.
