IMPORTANT NOTES REGARDING THE CRUISE

The travel agent is booking rooms as we receive complete registrations. We are unable to book rooms until we have ALL paperwork in hand.  Many of you have not sent us copies of your passports or birth certificates/IDs.  Please send these documents to us ASAP so that we can fully book your room.

Once we have booked your room, you will receive an email with your confirmation and cabin number.

HAVEN'T REGISTERED YET?
It's not too late to register for Embark! Send in your reservation form along with your passport or birth certificate and drivers license and we will book your room. Please note that all balcony cabins are reserved.  Ocean view and interior staterooms are available.

If you have any questions, please contact us at the office. 417-862-2781 ext. 3256 (Kashia) or ext. 3249 (Vanielle).
We ask that all missionaries and missionary associates use both the Intercultural Ministries and U.S. Missions logos on all newsletters and promotional pieces. Please be sure to use the most current logos. Click here and scroll to the bottom of the page to find the most current Intercultural Ministries and U.S. Missions logos.
1/2 TITHE POLICY

According to the General Council bylaws and the U.S. Missions Missionary Manual, all missionary personnel are required to contribute one-half of their tithe to their department.  Keep in mind this includes all sources of income whether from U.S. Missions or from another outside source such as social security, disability, or spousal support.
Be on the lookout for possible invitations to a ZOOM video conference call with Wayne.  We want to connect with you and help you connect with other missionaries in your field for effective collaboration and team building. We're excited to use ZOOM to host conference calls to help us stay connected and to build one another up.
WILLING TO HOST?
We often receive inquiries from churches wanting to do a missions trip in the states.  Be on the lookout for a Team Hosting Form which will be coming to you soon.  If you're willing to host a team, please complete the form and return it to [email protected].  We will then promote these short term missions opportunities.
As many of you know, our Media Network Coordinator, Alicia Dair, writes articles for our social media pages and the Intercultural Ministries website. Alicia will contact you to set up a time for an over the phone interview and to ensure you're comfortable with being promoted.  Once she has finished the article, she will send you a draft to be approved within 5 work days.  If you have not responded within 5 days, she will post as is.

**Please check your U.S. Missions email often for promotional opportunities.

LOWELL & TAMI
HOCHHALTER

Victims of Human Trafficking

Lowell started an organization, called the LifeGuard Group, that works directly with trafficked victims and focuses on four steps to a new life: respond, rescue, restore, revive. Their goal is to assist broken people and lead them to a path of healing and a life with Jesus. Hochhalter and his team work not only with current victims, but also strive to address trafficking at its root. They do this by educating students and training school faculty and members of the community in a new project called LifeLine. This project will provide instruction to middle, high school, and college students who will learn the signs of human trafficking in an interactive assembly and empower them to help break the cycle.

JOE & ANN
TREMENTOZZI

Joe and Ann Trementozzi have served with Special Touch Ministry by reaching out to people with disabilities and their families since 2007. Joe and Ann host Special Touch Get Aways, a summer camp where people with special needs can fellowship in a fun Christian environment.  After camp, the local churches and participants connect at local Special Touch Chapter meetings. The Chapter meetings provide a safe atmosphere for people with special needs and their caregivers to talk about Jesus. When these relationships are established, it creates an awareness in the congregation to embrace these families in church. Joe says, “My favorite part of this ministry is watching churches being awakened and excited for the need to minister to people with disabilities and becoming certified by Special Touch as ‘disability friendly.’ They are opening up their doors because the ‘tipping point’ is beginning to occur and they now realize that these families are in their neighborhoods and are in need of Christ in their lives too.”
